Brute

BR with Julie, Marcie, Mel and Paul on January 19th.
That's me right now:

This book was on my TBR shelf for far too long and I don't know what took me so long to read it.
See, I love fairytales! And I love the Middle Ages!
Don't believe me? Look at this:

(Yes, that was my wedding! Yes, that is my hubby! And yes, I really got married in a medieval dress!)
So the chances for me to like this book was already high from the very beginning!
From the first page on it got me hooked. I was feeling for Brute. His miserable life got me all sniffing and tearyeyed. I hated the way how the people in his village treated him. This made it for me so much more surprising that he still kept this tender and caring soul.
Then he arrived at the palace and we meet Gray. And my heart was hurting for him too. So much years of suffering...
As you can see in my updates, I wanted to hug them and comfort them like all the time. Even though I wanted to slap Brute's head at more than one occasion, because he thought so little of himself.
I can't describe how much this book touched my mushy heart. So I won't try much more and just steel the pic from Kayl's review! ;-P

If you like fairytales like me and you haven't read it yet. What are you waiting for? Grap this book and read it ASAP!
