My Kindle is my TARDIS

It's just me, myself, and the books... ;-)

Shy - John Inman

After Paulie and now this I figure, John Inman's humor and mine are just not the most compatible.

I get why a lot of people like his humours books. But they just don't do it as much for me as for them.

Reading progress update: I've read 4%.

The Complete Sherlock Holmes (Illustrated) (Top Five Classics Book 17) (English Edition) - Arthur Conan Doyle

OK! OK! 4% doesn't look like a lot but I'm actually halfway through "Study in Scarlet"! And I'm enjoying it even more than I thought I would.

The Great Sex Olympics of 221B - XistentialAngst

OK... now I have to watch the series... ;-)

Pounded By The Pound: Turned Gay By The Socioeconomic Implications Of Britain Leaving The European Union - Chuck Tingle

Never a dull moment with a book by Chuck Tingle!

— feeling happy
The Truth about Riley - Henrietta Clarke

Gift from my awesome Secret Santa chica Marcie!

Thank you, honey! That was great.

How To Be a Normal Person - T.J. Klune

I had to mull this over for a bit. My rating constantly switched between 3.5 and 5 stars.

In this story we still have the T.J. Klune brand of humor(which I love) but it's not so much in-the-face... more subdued. (I still love it!) After the other books by T.J. Klune I've read recently this was kind of refreshing!

Grumpy characters with hearts of gold are a special weakness of mine so it's no surprise I fell for Gus almost right from the start.

Casey though.... He annoyed the ever loving F*** out of me!His constantly instagraming, selfie taking and hashtagging (is this an actual word?) drove me nuts! - Call me oldfashioned, I don't care. - And his friends were non the better!

Since I arrived at the sidecharacters... I loved Lottie and the We Three Queens and how they cared for Gus. Though I have the feeling you could have simply switched them with eachother without anyone noticing. Like they were all the same person.

You know, most of the time I'm a little smutmonster and I love me some smoking sexy times. But the asexual aspect of this story spoke to me on a very private level.

I will definitely pick this up again! (Maybe doing the audio?)

Never, ever let anyone tell you that who you are is wrong.
It's okay to be gay. Or straight. Or bisexual.
It's also okay to be asexual, demisexual, pansexual, or aromantic.
You do you, and if anyone gives you grief for that, remember one thing:
You are exactly the way you're supposed to be.
Lucky's Charms - Vanessa North, Rosanna Leo, Robin Danner, Parker Kincade, Monette Michaels, Lynn Lorenz, Lillian Grant, Emilia Mancini, Cherie Nicholls, Becca Jameson

If you need something to "clean" your mind these stories are just for you!

There wasn't a story I disliked. Though non of them were something special for me.

I liked that there were also 2 M/M stories and not only M/F.

My 2 favorite stories were "Seamus" by Vanessa North and "Devlin" by Parker Kincade.

KLT23 - Missy Welsh

I needed something short after all the TJ Klune books I've read recently and this fit in just fine.

I enjoyed it but for more stars it would have to be a bit longer.

Reading progress update: I've read 100%.

How To Be a Normal Person - T.J. Klune

Have to think about it for a bit...

The Queen & the Homo Jock King (At First Sight) - TJ Klune

This was full of T.J. Klune's humor so... Britta is a happy camper!

While I love Darren and Sandy/Helena and was so shipping these guys, the story itself was ok but nothing to sweep me up my feet.

Don't get me wrong! I wasn't disappointed in any shape or form. It just wasn't the most original storyline IMO.

And as a sidenote: YES, T.J. can write smoking sexy times!!!!

Bear, Otter, and the Kid - T.J. Klune Who We Are (Bear, Otter, and the Kid #2) - T.J. Klune The Art of Breathing (Bear, Otter, and the Kid Chronicles) - T.J. Klune
— feeling amazing

So I read those treasures back to back...

Since I read Tell Me It's Real last year I wanted to read more books by T.J. Klune. I loved his humor.

Now with Bear, Otter and Tyson (who isn't any longer the Kid) and their chosen family he absolutely got me under his spell!

The angst!!!

The love!!!

The humor!!!

The feels!!!

This series has it all and then some.

And my personaly cherry on top of it all was Tyson's trip to Tucson where he met all my friends form Tell Me It's Real! I just have to read The Queen & The Homo Jock King immediately.

It's inevitable!!!

If you haven't read T.J. Klune yet.... WHY NOT?????

Reading progress update: I've read 100%.

The Art of Breathing (Bear, Otter, and the Kid Chronicles) - T.J. Klune

I love those guys! <3 <3 <3

Smoke & Mirrors - Charlie Cochet

Definitely one of the best in this series.

Couldn't put it down for even a sec.

Though there are things I don't know what to think about... But since they are all connected to the setup for the new series around Dex and Solane I just

will have to wait and see how they turn out.

For now I'm a happy camper!
